I hate talking to customer service at at&t. So i figured I would ask on here before I called them. I am moving into my apartment May 12th, we want internet to be hooked up asap. I tried buying the package online, but it wouldn't work. I was wondering when ordering on the internet if I could request it be hooked up on a certain day. Or would I have to wait until we actually moved it? I know it's a stupid question but i'm just curious lol

Depending on your location they may be able to turn it on remotely then send you the modem in advance. The downside to this is if there is any sort of wiring troubles they will then need to dispatch and you will be without service for a few days.
Why not just request it to be hooked up on May 12th, the day you move in? You can certainly do this.

ATT's website is terrible, as is their phone based customer service. I'm like you, I hate calling them. If you have an ATT "company" store (not a reseller or outlet!) stop in and setup an appointment, it's the easy and least aggravating way to get it done.
