The real world is illusory...there is no experience of time and gravity...it will be difficult to know if things are still or vibrating ...time in its 24h format is imposed by the society. But one can only encounter that illusion...when he becomes non-dual...Shankara encountered it and said 'jagat mithya'...and later logicians and philosophers jumped on him...and criticised and made fun of him for saying that...What he said was his experience...which was true for him and anyone who experienced Advaitha...it was made a philosophy by his students...who were as dumb as his critics...

It helps to know the difference, and if you have the ability to shift you will have seen both the real, and the not necessarily real. I've seen the world from many different viewpoints, and noticed that the world is always Real. The only difference is in how I perceive it.

We are living in the real world, and it doesn't matter what world each individual is in. The miserable, the poverty stricken, the rich, the sober, the happy or the sad. It's all real. We can't pretend that the human condition isn't a spiritual training ground, it is, it's why we're here. We chose to realize ourselves through this particular form of life. Human is an amazing machine, a brilliantly designed organism and humans are capable of stunningly amazing feats of conscious expansion.

Some will attest to the miracle of meditation, and how it's changed their lives, others will swear that their faith in Jesus has transformed their life, and a few of us will say that learning how to shift, is the way towards love and life for all that it is. An unshifted state of mind begins then to seem as an illusion in certain terms, and yet it's not, it's real. If it's being experienced it's real. A spiritual master knows the difference between say the higher self and the lower self. (both are real).

Dreams are not illusions either, dreams are real. When you dream, you are really travelling through dimensions, time-lines and your subconscious enjoys the journey. When you remember your dreams, your conscious mind considers the meaning and takes the memory of the dream into waking life.

We create our reality according to our thoughts, desires, beliefs, and emotions. What you sense is not an illusion, it's actually happening. You can see through your physical manifestations, what is real for you. Look at how your body feels, examine your attitude, consider the level of enjoyment you are experiencing. If you're not satisfied with everything you perceive around you, then in a way it's an illusion, and yet it's not. It means that you are capable of something more real, something more suitable for you. Your inner self or soul or the spirit of you will always send signals to your body and your ego, and yet it doesn't force anything upon you. As you think, so shall you be.

I could go on and on with this question, but I'll let it rest for the time being.

Cheers then.

ILLUSION is some thing that has no material and physical existence, Real can be perceived and lived. If I say this world is Illusion and you believe on my opinion, wouldn't it be a paradox? If this world is illusion, how can you ask question and how can you believe the answers as real? Else you will say that you believe in the reality inside the illusion?

All these thoughts are the crap through which we are confused, to know the eternal reality we need to silence our thoughts because whenever we think we are not mentally at that place where we are thinking, the reality can be perceived through a clear and peaceful mind that can be patient to perceive the present moment and his consciousness, only then a part of reality shall be revealed, else theories won't take anywhere, experiments are needed on this. Either scientific that come with proof, or individual experiments, these don't come with proof and only you can understand them inside you by silencing your mind.

We are in the only world possible, so it must be the real one. 'Evenball's' answer describes both Plato and Kant.

This idea of an illusory world was given credence by Plato. Plato never said this world was not real; he said the world of the Forms was 'more' real. But he did say this real world was an illusion because he thought the Forms--which we call 'universals'--were the originals, and that the 'particulars' of this world--the individual dogs, trees, rocks, etc., were copies of those Forms.

Kant took the concept further, saying that all phenomena, what we call particulars, were versions of Noumena. Noumena, he said, were all the things about particulars that man can never EVER know--because, said Kant, man's limited sensory abilities won't allow him to ever know those things that our senses won't allow us to know.
It was very circular reasoning, but it always leads me to wonder how he knew they exist if we can never know what they are?

Then there are the various theories about how we create the world through our consciousness, a theory called the Primacy of Consciousness.

The idea that the world exists as reality without any mind even knowing about it is called the primacy of existence.

And there are those theories about how we are either in the 'godhead' as his dreams or as him imagination; or how we are in the matrix, etc.

"What is the difference btwn REAL World & World of ILLUSION?"

That is an excellent question, and the Master of True Reality, who sees all things as they really are, gives us His counsel here, that we may anoint our eyes with eye salve that we may see the difference "btwn REAL World & World of ILLUSION."

Because you say, I am rich and increased with goods and have need of nothing, and do not know that you are wretched and miserable and poor and blind and naked, I counsel you to buy from Me gold purified by fire, so that you may be rich; and white clothing, so that you may be clothed, and so that the shame of your nakedness does not appear. And anoint your eyes with eye salve, so that you may see. As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten; therefore be zealous and repent. Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and will dine with him and he with Me. To him who overcomes I will grant to sit with Me in My throne, even as I also overcame and have sat down with My Father in His throne. He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches.
