Can u mix lemon juice with apple cider vinegar?

Question

I have a cold with a chesty cough and just boiled some water in a pan with ginger root, a sliced lemon and some apple cider vinegar, once boiled I put in a cup with honey and whiskey, it tastes foul but I'll drink it if it works, the problem is after two or three sips I now have a touch of indigestion, could this be the lemon and cider vinegar mix or ( just had a thought) could it be the lemon cake and custard I had earlier

It is probably from the whiskey, though it could be the sweets.
 
I hope you did not boil the apple cider vinegar, as that will reduce most of its benefit.
I also hope you are not confusing some powdered apple cider drink mix with apple cider vinegar.

Apple cider vinegar has no medicinal properties.

Just drink the whiskey instead.
