I think it would be cool if you did a couple of sections of a lighter colour. Perhaps blond (if you like it). Have them peak through the dark hair. Not highlights, but panel sections! That way you don't have to dye your whole head and it's easy to maintain if you don't go to the salon a lot.

since you have dark eyes I would perhaps add a tint of deep purple or perhaps burgundy .... I think that would not be a dramatic change outwardly bu will feel intense to those talking to you ...
