If I had to choose, it would be C. Kurt has no ties with Gibbs, Robby Gordon, or Childress. The 3 most likely scenarios as of date are- 1: Stays with Phoenix Racing; 2- 2nd Car for Furniture Row Racing with a move to Dodge, and 3- Signs on with Michael Andretti with a new Dodge team that is rumored. Could be a two car operation with Ryan Newman, Joey Logano, or Trevor Bayne
Gibbs already has one loose cannon in Kyle so that is off. Robby Gordon has not been able to qualify for races in 2012, and I see no reason for Chidress racing to add another team when they just got rid of Bowyer. C. is the only choice that makes sense and Kurt could be competitive in a factory supported Dodge and he knows how to drive them from his days in the 2 and the 22.
Logano is on thin ice at JGR. They like him, but he just isn't performing in the Cup series. You can't always keep people because you like them. JGR wants to win, and contend for titles. They have also said that if they could start a fourth team they would love to have Kurt. So you can see from that, that they don't "need" to have a fourth team. They can either release Logano, or offer him a fulltime Nationwide ride, or let him 'pursue other options'. Right now, Kurt offers more to the team, than Logano.
