Kurt Busch announced on Race Hub that he signed a deal with Furniture Row for 2013. What are your thoughts?

So what do you think of Kurt Busch in the number 78 Chevy of Furniture Row?

I think it's a great move considering the 78 is almost like RCR's 4th car. All there chassis, engines and tech support comes from Richard Childress Racing.

Considering the situation that Kurt got himself into, Furniture Row is a great team for him. They aren't a top tier team, but they do have pretty solid equipment and crew members. I don't care what anybody says, Kurt is one of the most talented drivers in NASCAR; him getting this opportunity is absolutely huge for not only him, but this team in general. Kurt may be the talent that can put this team up towards the top.

Kurt does have amazing talent . . . but this year has shown that he has trouble adapting to "lower quality" cars. He has consistently over-driven and wrecked this year. Sure, he's mostly kept his mouth shut, but his on-track actions have shown he has yet to settle down and just drive the car. He simply has been unable to adapt to cars that are not made to suit him. Remember, between Feb and June of this year Kurt wrecked 14 cars between 18 races of Cup and Nationwide for Phoenix Racing!

@#$%@#$ Furniture Row racing for shafting Regan Smith. I hope the team flops royally and Regan gets picked up for at least a full-time Nationwide ride. Regan has been faithful to sponsors, qualified very well and always driven to win.

Oh, and for the statistical minded:

    Kurt Busch 2012 season

    27 Starts, 1 top 5, 2 top 10, avg finish 24.6, avg start 22.2, 5 DNF, best finish 3rd, 525 race points, 5 bonus points, winnings: $3,198,337

    Regan Smith 2012 season

    28 Starts, 0 top 5, 2 top 10, avg finish 22.5, avg start 17.0, 3 DNF, best finish 9th, 603 race points, 1 bonus point, winnings: $3,329,297

Kurt has had it coming for a on a similar time as he treats his team chief like ****, he treats his pit team like **** and he is going over his boss' head perpetually, it won't count if it become a activities station or a universal pedestrian, those adult adult males are place fashions for the loads and could act in this difficulty each time and the place ever they're present themselves. Now if it become in the privateness in his very own residence or on his supplies than that's entire distinctive tale. that's a shame one in all those gifted driving force would not have a certain holiday for the 2012 season as of top now. yet with a bit of luck which will practice him a powerful lesson.

If that's like RCR'S fourth car that's not saying much. They couldn't even get a win this year. In my opinion Richard needs some new drivers. Maybe when his grandkids move up he will have better talent behind the wheel.

Take them to the next level?

Isn't that what everyone said when

    he went to Phoenix?

I like Kurt, I agree he is top shelf driver.

But getting in to an okay car today,

and being a good driver, does not add up to success

    these days. years ago... maybe.

    Not today.

It's hard enough for a good driver in good equipment...

My thoughts is that he will wreck each week, blame everyone, and Furniture Row will dismiss Kurt at the end of the year.

I think Regan Smith is getting the short end of the stick on that one.

I worked with a guy once that was always complaining, and he thought he was great, but a bad attitude is like a disease that can reflect on a whole organization. Personally myself I like working with people who have more control over themselves. People who are negative only earn a lack of respect, and those type of people can remain simply the competition.

I personally feel he deserves better. You could consider Phoenix Racing in basically the same light to Hendrick but it has not equalled success.

We shall see however what 2013 would hold.
