6 mth old spitting up depite meds?

I have a 6 month old little girl. She was born 8 lbs 10 oz. At her 4 month check up she was only 10 lbs 6 oz and the pedi switched her to Similac Alimentum and changed her from Zantac to Prevacid. She's now up to 13 lbs 5 oz but it seems that we have hit a wall again at 13 pounds. Her Prevacid seem slike it's not working anymore, as she can spit up 4 hours after her last meal, regardless if it's straight formula (thickened with cereal) or food. We go to her 6 month check up in a few hours. Is there some kind of test that I can request them run to see if it is just acid reflux, or if there is something more going on?

The Zantac and Prevacid don't really do anything to prevent the spitting up (FYI, neither does force feeding her cereal in her bottle, and if her pediatrician told you to risk her life like that, as it is a serious choking hazard you need to run, not walk away from that incompetent idiot). What it does is reduce the acidity of the spit up so her esophagus doesn't burn when she does spit up. Some babies are just like that, and they will usually outgrow it by 12 months.
