I am 6'1, 155 lbs. I am in pretty good shape, but I'm not that fast. I have long legs and arms.I have a decent arm. What event do you think I should do?
I am not fast enough to do sprints like 100,200 and I dont want to do long distances I could try javelin or discus because I do play baseball I have long legs so do you think I should try hurdles? And do you think I would be good at triple jump since I have long strides?
triple jump and hurdles seem best suited for me... but i cant jump high. i can jump far though since i have long legs and arms.
what do you think i should do?

if you cant jump or sprint fast, youll probably a javelin thrower. jumping (especially triple and long) are about speed and jumping ability (the right combination). long legs only get you but so far. if you cant really jump or sprint, then its not a good event for you. plus, it isnt good for your legs... trust me. if you have a fast arm, then you could be a jav thrower. but if you put on a few pounds, you could also be a pretty good shot putter. as for hurdles, you still need sprinting ability and long legs are good, but its more about having good stride than being able to "jump" over the hurdles.
you are the same height and weight i was when i was a sophomore. but as did track for 8 years at that point and i was a 19'8 long jumper (from freshman year, but i got injured and sucked ever since) and a 42' triple jumper and a 5'6/5'8 high jumper. you seem like a naturally built jumper and sprinter (youre a little tall actually), but dont know how to do it yet... and i knock baseball players for not being that athletic, no offense but thats an argument for another day. if you got your speed up and learned how to jump, you could be pretty good in my opinion.
I run track and i can tell you that just because you have long legs doesn't mean that you can long jump or triple jump.Jumping is all about exploding off your legs, and that takes leg strength, triple jump doesn't have much to do with strides that's why its called triple JUMP .And a basketball is way different from a javelin and long arms won't be that much of a help.Now if you want to run hurdles than you WILL have to run a 100, 200,or 400. But when you add the hurdles it takes alot more strength.if you ask me you would be good with the 200 (trust me its easier than it sounds.)
there are no real "long" distances in HS track. you should try the 800 and 1600 before you condemn them. I also suggest long jump and triple jump. at some schools (i think most)throwers practice separately from runners and jumpers, so you'll probably have to choose one or the other
Try every event and see which one you like the most. I believe hurdles and high jump but who knows. You should experiment them all and ask your coach which one you did better on. Usually it's what you find the most fun. If you enjoy doing it you put more effort and become better.
