Any good modern documentaries?

So, I'm not too well versed in documentaries, but it seems to me that the days of cinema verite and direct cinema have been replaced by biased films by the likes of Michael Moore. Are there any good cinema verite or direct cinema documentaries made recently?

Jiro Dreams of Sushi-
Hoop Dreams

If you like documentaries about social issues, think about Hoop Dreams. It is a 90's documentary that follows two high school students who aspire to be in the NBA- It is more realistic than any basketball biopics or fiction movies. If you watch it, you'll see why.

If you like documentaries that explore work ethics, think about Jiro Dreams of Sushi. It is a newer documentary that is about Jiro Ono, an owner of Sushi restaurant in Japan- a world ranked sushi place and his story along with sons.
