You can make a filter for any pump. If you don't want to make your own, you can contact the folks who built the pump and they will sell you one.
DIY filter: Get a container and a bag of lava rocks. Rinse the lava rocks very well. Separate the rocks into two or more bags because they can be heavy. Put the pump at the bottom of the container with the rocks on top of it. Put the container in the bottom of your pond. Voila! Filter.

Truely, most sunlight pumps have no battery. They pump when the solar shines on them, they usually do not when it's dark or dim. If you'd be completely happy with an extraordinarily small fountain, it could work good for you. It's rough to get plenty of power, so for some pond owners, the results is particularly disappointing when compared to what normal electric pumps can do. But with a pond as small as you describe, it might be just right for you. Waterfalls, so long as the elevation above the water intake is not up to, say 1 and a 1/2 foot rise (maybe two toes with the proper pump), it would work. Notably when you've got a fair quantity of obsticles and matters for the water to hit, and expand the overall sound, that you can get by with a lovely small drift of water and nonetheless have a high-quality result.

Pond Lady gives good advice. All I can add is to make sure you are getting good circulation across the pond, if it's bigger than, say, 4 feet wide. Plumb it so you minimize stagnant water, making your investment in a filter more functional
