What's the most important thing to take on a long air trip?

I am taking off on my first overseas trip and have a 15 hour flight ahead of me. What is the most important thing to take with me in the plane? Suggestions of things that will make the time go quickly and comfortably would be much appreciated.

Here's a few!

Here's a little guide I wrote:

Here are some tips I made, with a few boredom killers here and there!:

I am in fact going on a trip in two weeks! I'll share my checklist, but first some advice!

-If you know you usually feel sick on planes, PLEASE take a chewable anti nausea/gravol pill so that you don't feel sick. Trust me, I always felt sick before and it just makes your layover, etc, feel really sour and bad!

-I can't even stand the smell when the food cart comes out. I haven't been on a plane in two years, but usually we packed sandwiches, or little snacks like pretzels, etc. Little things that are allowed on the plane, that can fill you up shortly just so your tummy isn't grumbling and dryer foods are better to prevent feeling sick.

-FOR SURE, bring a camera! Capture the wonderful things you'll see on your trip and shoot some pics of the clouds! (To pass the time.)

-Bring a wordsearch or sudoku as a time-passer. If you're traveling with a friend or relative, bring a deck of cards or mini chess set!

-Bring a book and some magazines you like! START A TRAVEL JOURNAL! Include the date, cool things you did or saw, pictures, ticket stubs, logo napkins, postcards, etc!

-Best of all, just take a nap so you feel less jet-lagged!

*Some things on my checklist:

-Book, magazines, sudoku, wordsearch
-Sunglasses & pouch, camera & pouch
-Hoodie/sweater (It will probably be chilly on the plane!)
-Wallet + money + important papers
-Chargers and cords of electronics
-Tissues and wetwipes
-Toiletries
-Neck pillow
-Socks
-Pen
-Gum/tictacs
-Snacks
-WATER *purchased after security check, or else they'll dump it!

I really hope this answer helps. Have a wonderful and safe trip!! xx

That motor in the Olds where unique work horses and run ceaselessly. I'd seem at putting new plugs, wires, Serpentine belt, thermostat, and gasoline filter in previous to leaving, lift a basic instrument package with you with in the occasion that some thing may occur. I make it addiction to have a different set of plugs, fluid (Oil, anti-freeze, windshield washer, and distilled water) on journeys like this as you under no circumstances know what could happen. If it can be been a at the same time due to the fact that you've gotten achieved it, you can also want to check up on the upper and shrink radiator hoses as well, make sure there are no tender spots on the hoses and they do not show signs of brittleness. Pull your wheels and investigate the brake pads to be certain your now not all the way down to the restrict on the brakes, probably the most hills in these areas can wreck already worn brakes. Even have the braking process bled before you go to make certain you may have maximum stopping vigour. Nothing is worse then to be heading down a hill and discover your not in a position to stop. A good as soon as over of the transmission can also be a good investigate, when you have no longer had it accomplished in the last 30K miles have the transmission serviced. Old fluid in the transmission and reduce a commute brief relatively quick when your pulling steep hills on a hot day. Having good clean fresh fluid within the transmission will greatly fortify your possible hood of getting a monotonous journey. Have a first-class go back and forth.

ipod/iphone, headphones, neck pillow thingy, snacks from home or the airport

if the flight leaves at night then bring comfy pillow and blanket and one of those eye cover things if you use those. You have no idea how much more comfortable it is to sleep on a plane when you have a pillow, blanket, and good music.

Watching the in flight movies helps too.

Bring a small pillow and blanket (you can also use the ones they provide on the airplane but I prefer having my own). Entertainment wise, bring books, magazines, and a laptop with several DVDs. You can also get the inflight wifi to use Netflix or watch one of the movies they have on the plane.

well, you could take a book, but if you get air sick, it is not recommended. You could take a deck of cards and play with yourself, you could use a game machine (i pod touch, nintendo ds, i pad) you know, entertaning things. If you have the i pod touch or the the i pad or the i pod nano, with already dowloaded videos and movies, you will be attached to it.

You could always take something related to a hobby. For example you make bracelets, you could take the things you use to make bracelets, and make some, and who knows? maybe even sell some!

I hope you have a nice trip, and that i also helped!
