Story problem: basic fractions?

Imagination Ink supplies different colored inks for highlighter pens. Vat 1 has yellow ink, holds 150 gallons, and is 4/5 full.
Vat 2 has green ink, holds 50 gallons, and is 5/8 full. One gallon of ink will fill 1200 pens. How many pens can be filled with the existing ink from Vats 1 and 2?

The answer is not in the back of the book, that's why I'm asking here. I have different answers so I'm not sure.

I had: 180,000 pens
and then I tried doing it another way and got 120,000 pens.

Yellow: available ink = 4/5 of 150 galls. = 120 galls.
Green: available ink = 5/8 of 50 galls. = 31.25 galls.
Total ink available = 120 + 31.25 = 151.25 galls.
Since 1 gallon will fill 1200 pens, then 151.25 galls. will fill (1200 x 151.25) pens.
That is: 181,500 pens.
