It’s the heart of Marxist ideology. It argues that the value of a commodity is related to the labor needed to produce or obtain that commodity. A person’s value is in his work regardless of whether what he produces ever has any utility or demand.
Many more people can be garbage haulers than surgeons. Rarely does a garbage hauler save a person’s life. So it’s not the labor that’s valuable but a marketable skill that people are willing to pay for. Taxing the rich cuts down on the inequity. One of the platform principles of the Communist Manifesto is “a heavy progressive or graduated income tax.” President Obama was not the first to adopt this Marxist principle; he’s just the first president who is self-conscious about it. The housing debacle was built on the argument that every person deserves to be a homeowner because everybody “tries.” So the government decided to circumvent economic realities by guaranteeing loans of people who may have tried hard but couldn’t afford to purchase a house. I think you're right. People buy into the 'entitlement' program for obvious reasons of self preservation and after that it's a short jump to be deceived into thinking the left is magically delicious.
The fact that Time Warner who owns CNN and HBO many other news and media operations is one of Obama's main campaign contributors and hired 40 lobbyists just this year.. yeah it's not hard to connect the dots. The news and the movies are slanted left to escort people into Marxism.
Don't believe me ..look at these sources for yourself. Use some brain cells. Form an opinion based on fact and not what CNN tells you to believe .. for once!!
What they don't educate you in school in Russian Marxist ideology was situated on fear and fear alone. When you didn't comply with the ideology you can be put to demise, crushed, or thrown in a Russian jail which used to be a gap in the ground literally regularly. The Russian govt killed a ways more citizens than Hitler ever could have dreamed of.
No. You are too brainwashed with conservative spin to know the truth of what is going on. Republicans are much more Marxist than Obama. Marxism cannot be achieved through peaceful transition. It can only be achieved through a grossly unfair capitalist system, which Republicans advocate for. Obama is trying to prevent Marxism by using progressive tax system to balance the progressive levels of disposable income. A rich person does not have to commit as much of his income to supporting his survival as a poor person and can afford higher levels of taxation. This isn't about fairness as much as it about the pragmatism of running a country.
Also, the housing debacle was not built on the argument that every person deserves to be a homeowner. It was built on the argument that commercial banks and investment banks can share business, making it meaningless whether a person can afford to be homeowner since the bank that approved the loan sold to an investment bank who in turn bundled it into an overrated stock option for naive investors. Nobody forced the banks to turn mortgage lending into a Ponzi scheme; they did it themselves because it seemed highly profitable at their level in the con.
I say anyone who accuses Obama of being Marxist is an uneducated, indoctrinated fool.
At the company where I work, the CEO needed to be replaced. Hundreds of qualified applicants applied. A consulting firm was hired, at great expense, to choose the 8 most qualified candidates, and then to Board of Directors voted on the one they liked best.
But, it's hard to find people to staff the cafeteria and clean the restrooms. So, by the law of supply and demand, the janitor should earn more than the CEO, right?
How come it doesn't work like that?
Here's a better way: If two people work equally hard, they get the same pay.
"labor theory of value" actually stems from Adam Smith and David Riccardo originally.
a maxim is a "concise formulation of a fundamental principal." It took Adam Smith 400 pages to develop the Labor theory of value; David Riccardo spends nearly 200 before getting to "comparative demand"; Marx spends hundreds of pages in Kapital explaining the difference between Capital value and labor value.
It isn't a maxim.
I stopped reading your illiterate blog at that point.
If you haven't read Adam Smith and you don't know the meanings of the words you are using, you have a right to comment on "Marxist ideology."
