Photoshop question please?

Currently I have used the free photoshop Picasa and then Picnik which has pretty much closed down. I liked the feature that you could add stickers and brighten eyes and teeth and it was pretty easy on Picnik.

I have done a free download of the CS6 Adobe and it was way too much for me. Now I am trying Photoshop Elements 10. It is still harder for me to grasp and it taking me a long time to even understand 25 percent of it. I am about half way through the trial.

Is there anything else that is easy as Picasa/Picnik was? I don't need all the extra razzle dazzle at this time. Maybe I would try the adobe element 10 again in the future.

I am just starting out with photography and I want something that when I download my pictures to the computer it will open under this program and that I can just transfer my pictures from my computer to the program easily. Right now, I have to try to find and search and it is too hard.

Thank you for your kind advice in advance.

Ribbet! have just opened a photo editor that's almost identical to Picnik (built on the same platform and with all the same features including stickers, eye brightening etc). To celebrate their launch they're offering all their premium features for free:

This list has beginning, intermediate and advanced freeware. I've used this site for 4 years and it's clean and safe.

Below the descriptions of the software are the links to the program and to download the program. You can go to the program link and get more information.

It helps to have an easy program that you can use to do photos while you're learning how to use Elements. Don't forget to try Elements' Guided Edit and Quick Edit workspaces. They are easier to use. Click on Guided or Quick up in the right corner of the Full Edit workspace.

If you're using Windows, try Paint.net. It's a good combinations of features and easy interface. You can download it from http://www.getpaint.net/
