Which did you think was better AND WHY?
Personally, i thought the Dark knight was a superior movie in all respects. Many reasons..but just an overall gut feeling of walking out and thinking...this is an epic that will stand the test of time. Just my personal opinion though.

I was thinking of answering this in full detail but then I realized this page would be totally filled s I'll just say I thought The Dark Knight was much better.
This is for a couple reasons, the biggest of course being joker which I get a huge sadness over knowing that he will never get a proper ending and how much frickin awesome it would be if Bane and Joker would be teamed up.
Also, I found the overall style of The Dark Knight much more intense and addicting to watch.
However I did think the score and camera was totally awesome in The Dark Knight Rises.
The whole trilogy was amazing though, I'm very excited for what Christopher has in store next, Man of Steel looks promising.

I did like the Joker more than Bane, in the Dark Knight. He made for a more unpredictable villain that kept you on the edge of your seat. Also, the fact that he truely was "insane", and only wanted to watch the city burn were his motives made him the more thrilling, terrifying villain.
BUT...
the Dark Knight Rises paid more homeage to many of the Batman comic storylines, which I LOVED. The scene where Bane raised Batman above his head then breaks his back was epic. I literally heard gasps in the theater. Another awesome comic reference was just the addition of Catwoman and Blake (aka Robin). Those characters really reminded you that this was a BATMAN movie, about kicking *** and saving the day, no matter what the cost. Wherein the Dark Knight, the image of batman could've easily had been replaced with tome cruise or vin deisel, making it just another action movie.

I think The Dark Knight Rises was the better film. It was just an awesome story and the cast was great. I also like Bane more than the Joker. I just wish Heath didn't die =[. They could have done so much more. Like with Harley Quinn. I just think that The DKR was just amazing.
