can stress delay labor?

Generally I'm fine, but sometimes I get so stressed with my daughter (2 and half years old) when she is having one of those day where she don't want to listen to anything I say or be nice to anyone. I'm currently a bit past 38 weeks pregnant and was wondering if this kind of stress that I have with my daughter could delay my labor? I'm really hoping to avoid c-section.

Stress will induce labor. It's certainly not good for your baby. Emotional and physical stress sends a Chemical reaction from your brain to your uterus. It causes havoc basically.
