Do the way Republicans justify voter suppression give an easy way to see how Whites justified Jim Crow?

The way they intellectually dishonestly pretend that they are too dumb to realize that there are many older minorities that cannot get a government ID, so voter ID laws are no big deal. must be exactly how they turned a blind eye and pretended that all the atrocities happening to blacks all around them were some how not really that bad in the 50's and 60's or even in slavery.

People are always quick to claim, oh that was back then, no one today would sit back and let stuff like that happen. Yea right. when ever the majority has an opportunity to stick it to the minority they find a subtle justification to do so no matter if it 1800, or 2012 in America or 1940 in Germany.

In the last decade of voting, only 70 incidences of voter fraud has occurred.

Did you hear me?

Ten years of voting and only 70 incidences.

So voter ID laws are just a way to suppress a certain group of people from voting. But it will fail miserably for the GOP and it will leave them scratching their heads as to why it didn't work.

Watch and see.

1. How will you justify the invasion of Iraq? How are you going to justify the killing of hundreds of thousands of innocent men, women, and kids, in what's practically a battle for oil? Iraq was terrible below Hussein. We liberated the Iraqi's and gave them the reward of freedom. Even though there have been no WMD's there was once a number of excellent out of the battle that the liberal pundits do not like speakme about. Iraq will now be a beacon to the leisure of the core east 2. How will you justify instructing creationism in colleges when there is obviously extra evidence for evolution? What about scholars that do not feel in God - why will have to they be indoctrinated? Why will have to one facet be heard and now not the opposite. Clever design isn't a perception in God its a concept that the Universe is simply too complicated to arise randomly. Three. How will you justify being anti-abortion? Absolutely it's a females's proper to decide on what she does together with her physique. Early abortions are best getting rid of a fetus that's without difficulty a couple of-celled organism - it can't feel agony and if i don't believe in God, why must I be pressured to stick to your devout beliefs about abortion? Lifestyles starts offevolved at concept. A lady committing an abortion is committing homicide which is a sin. Four. How are you going to justify the coverup after 9/11? How will you justify the search for Weapons of Mass Destruction when there have been clearly none. Why did the united states go after Hussein when Sept. 11 naturally had nothing to do with him? Unhealthy information. Bush got bad intelligence and if any other president had that intelligence they too would have taken out Saddam. 5. How are you going to justify Palin as a good option for VP? Surely people can see she is a redneck hillbilly with no experience? She is a governor which is extra executive experience than Obama, Biden or McCain have. She is close to Russia and could be very knowledgable in regards to the world. 6. How will you aid a government that continues to permit the most important divide between the wealthy and poor than in every other developed country? Why is the divide the sort of bad thing? Why do not all of us just force 1.5 cars and have 2.5 kids? You do not like being terrible then get your butt up and work to get wealthy. Easy as that.

In the last ten years, there's been less than one person, per state, per year... That's been convicted of voter fraud... If I recall correctly, its 0.7 percent, of one person, per state, per year, in the last ten years... If there was any other program, policy, or law... That worked that well.. It would be called perfect... But you know how that works... If it ain't broke, fix it... There always has been, & there always will be... Someone with political power, wanting to make a problem, where there is none...
I also find James answer interesting... Seems he doesn't understand, the party's, started trading places, after LBJ, signed into law, Civil Rights... By Reagan's second term in office, they traded completely... Even Alabama Governor. George Wallace, by today's standards, would be considered a Tea Bagger... Actually George Wallace Jr,, is carrying on the same tradition, as his dad... Only using the Republican brand, now...

Is it so hard to get a id? It is free all you have to do is put some effort out there. Everyone that I know has a Id. Grow up if you want to vote it is not a big deal.

Even Mexico has a vote card.

In the most progressive country in the world: The Netherlands, voter ID's are mandatory for decades. And they do have illegals too you know.

Illegal voting is the only current type of voter suppression, it makes every legitimate vote matter a little less.
