No, it's understandable, but not how it would normally be said.

No, it doesn't sound right. "This machine goes on electricity" would be slightly better, but we would normally say "This machine runs on electricity", or "This machine is powered by electricity", or "This machine is electrically powered".

Althogh it can be said in informal speech, it's best to say "runs on" or " is powered by"
