Windows 7 wireless connection problem?

For some reason when i troubleshoot an internet problem it doesn't give my a wireless option. It says to reconnect an ethernet cable. I've had wireless before. Even the icon in the bottom right corner is gone. Please help!!!!

Make sure your wireless adapter is enabled. Check it out on the device manager.
