The song All Alright by fun. has a line that I just don't understand.?

The lyric says that they "wished upon parallel lines".
I am not sure why it is bothering me, but I don't understand what meaning is. I feel really dumb for not understanding. Any ideas?

Since 11 looks like parallel lines.

I looked up the full song lyrics and I feel that within the context of the song it is in relation to driving a car and the parallel lines painted on the roads that you watch when you drive.
