How many commercial flights have included a catapult launch?

Before WW2; there was an ocean ship / sea plane route from Europe to South America that included a catapult launch of the plane. At that time, the planes did not have the range to go all the way.

Absolutely ZERO.
Catapult Launches are for Military aircraft specifically designed for the task to launch from Aircraft Carriers. No commercial planes are allowed or have been designed to do so.
And while it is exciting.... It is NOT for civilians in general as a commercial flight because of the EXTREME danger.
Fighter Pilots have the opportunity to eject if something goes wrong on the launch. Those in non-fighters or attack planes do not have that option. If you are in a C-2A Greyhound (the COD, or Carrier Onboard Delivery) and a passenger... you are trapped in the cabin of the aircraft as it hits the water, starts to sink, and is getting run over by the 100,000 ton Carrier bearing down on it.
Try doing that with a 100 or so civilians.

None, zero. Catapults are used to launch aircraft from carriers, where no commercial flights take place and were used by the Wright brothers in their earliest experiments - also no commercial passengers. So...the answer is none.

only gliders use a sort of cat launch, they are winched up with a high speed winch at the end of the runway. It is wild to see and wild to be in the back seat. Only rode once with the crazy fool, I like the tow plane method.
The guy who said about the plane from the ocean liner I think that was for mail only but I'm sure a passenger with enough juice and money could ride along.
