Are people in anoraks or other outerwear, even in hot weather, less trustworthy?

It seems maybe they have something to hide. And does color matter?
A green anorak, for instance, does that convey simple entrepreneurship or does it speak volumes of the person wearing it, of deceit and manipulation?

Judy, Judy, Judy. I live in Minnesota. Oh, we have winter all right. I said "even in hot weather". See?

Philip! Have the scraps at the pub been satisfactory? I have a bag of marrow that I scraped from a deer that I found expired in the meadow. I thought you may enjoy that. Talk to you soon!

Hello stranger !

Maybe the cultural messages sent by anoraks are different here. 'Anorak' is another word for nerd or geek, someone to be pitied more than mistrusted. Urban anoraks, or hoodies are definitely not to be trusted though.

What about someone who wears a woolly hat in bed ?

Mmm.... Lovely scraps. Dead deer ..... bleeeurghh .... you know I'm a vegetablearian.

Possibly they are. It's also possible they're simply fellow travelers on the Road of life. There are many paths along the Road with many crossings.

Colors are a random occurrence. Bright colors are frequently a sign of foppery. The wearers do bear watching.

Anoraks are OK, anorak + southwester = serial killer.

you obviously have never lived in a country that has real winter. Here in Canada, you'd freeze to death without a parka and in the summer we still need a jacket most of the time after dark
