child support and disability?

I am disabled i get ssdi and ltd long term disability. I am court ordered to pay 400$ a month to my two children. Okay social security started paying them 190$ each and my ltd long term disability took it out of my check. So my ex wife called me today and she seems to think she can get more money from me, well the thing is social security is paying the kids but ltd long term disability is taking it from my check too. So how can she get more money if i am paying her? I only get like 2600 a month all together if they wasn't deducting the social security from it i would get 3000$ please anyone with knowledge of this help me. I really dont believe she can get 25% of my income if she is being payed what was court ordered.

Yes that is the case they are deducting it from my long term disability from the company, because ssdi is paying it so its like im paying double

I was working when the court order was made to pay 400 a month. I became disabled 3 years later i only get 2600 a month. Social security pays my kids 400 and the ltd takes 400 from my monthly check. So what im saying is there taking double but the kids only get 400 from social security.

The amount that the children are getting from social security is NOT child support, it is a dependent benefit, so they are technically entitled to this AND the $400 a month you were ordered to pay in child support. IF you want to reduce the amount of child support given to them you would need to petition the court for a reduction in child support. By the same token, if your ex thinks she can get more in child support, she can petition the court for an increase in child support and all you can do is get an attorney to fight it.

You need to show the child support agency that's she's getting double so they can stop the withholding from ltd.
