With all the new rules and punishments we still have 2 starting quarterbacks with head injuries?

They punished the Saints to the obvious ruin of their season for bounties, and they have spent the last couple of seasons fining defensive backs and linebackers for so much as breathing on a wideout, or quarterback and to my great surprise we still have 2 starting quarterbacks knocked out of games this week with head injuries. Maybe they should just ban tackling and hitting altogether? Maybe they should just get real and realize that injuries are going to be part of tackle football.

I'm all for safety but realistically the safest thing would be to find something else to do for a living. I really don't think you can play the game as it exists today without injuries and I doubt anyone is going to watch flag football on TV.

So, you don't think they should try to make the game safer for the players? Hits are fun to watch, no doubt, but I'm not going to criticize the league for trying to make the game safer for those who play it. I disagree with a lot of things the NFL does, but I'm all for making football a safer game to play. Anyone who doesn't get that has never seen a friend or teammate being hauled off the field in an ambulance.
