How do start a conversation when you have nothing to talk about?

there is always something to talk about~

-favorite food

-favorite color

-favorite ice cream flavor

-favorite fruit

-favorite band or artist

-music genre

-the color of her/his eyes

-the smoothness of her/his hair

-the weather whether it's good or bad (mehehe.)

-how gentle the breeze is atm

-how the sky is so blue and the clouds are white and fluffy (only on a good weather, ofc)

-play an association game (if i say 'door', you say 'window'. if i say, 'computer', you say 'apple' it's basically saying things that are associated with the previous word)

-favorite animal

-pets

-favorite car

-most embarrassing moment

-most memorable moment

-family members

-celebrity crushes

-likes and dislikes

-gummy bears

-childhood cartoon series

-comment on what he's/she's wearing

-tell clean jokes

-admire her/his muddy sneakers

-talk about what's going on in the world

-pizza anyone?

-favorite movie

-try to guess stuff (ex: what they had for breakfast, his/her siblings name, their pet's name, the color of the shirt they wore to bed last night.)

-jokingly brag that youre a psychic if you successfully guessed one of the things above

-ask what superpower they want to have and why

-make cheesy but funny lines. EX:

"cant think of a topic, right now"

"ahaha that's okay. me too."

"you're all i can think about.....(wait for 2-4 seconds while looking them in the eyes then do a fist pump and utter 'BOOM')

(laughter follows, hopefully)

-sing a song right after their last word. EX

"Well..."

"Well, you done done me.."

-ask if he/she plays any computer games

-bring old some childhood memories. fun and funny childhood memories. nobody really wants to hear how you were so lonely and depressed as a child.

-favorite pokemon!

-tell them how dogs are excellent herbalists that they eat grass whenever they're not feeling well.

-talk about trees

-tell them how they are like a cat and start calling them 'miming' which means kitten in my dialect

-and some other random stuff

then hopefully, you can start a conversation after one of those : ))

Always start with a topic ou know the other person is interested in and knows a lot about. This way you start off and the other person to your surprise will take over the conversation.

Hello ! how are you.? Its very late I heard from you. Are you annoyed for something? Any how I don't feel any mistake on my part but if you have this feeling do forgive me. Really I need talk to you every now an then. Yesterday we had interschool games and Science Quiz. I got 1st prize in quiz. Papa is very happy .......come on man why don't you talk. Have you put somthing in your mouth or you are no more willing to talk to me. I had been waiting for your email for a long.I don't know what is wrong with you.............. I usually ask them about their hobbies and see if we have something in common. If we do then that's a whole long conversation right there. If we don't have something in common then I would just ask them what they like about their hobby and etc. Usually people don't mind about opening up talking about something they like to do.

Just say the truth if there is nothing to talk about it tell the person you talking about that your bored and there is nothing there is to talk about.

THIS, is one place where the local 'weather' comes to some proper use. Discussing the climate has been the most conventional 'ice-breaker' since ages. It still works, I've tried this personally many-a-time. :.:

I usually don't say anything. But I guess the best way would be asking what they like to do for fun or did during the weekend.

Talk about the weather or current events

before ask about him, then he will ask about you.and for more ask anything about him for anything just as study, sports, freindship

If he is unknown to you then ask as Where are you from? What's you surname?

For talking nothing is required it may be started with any thing
