Why did Paul Ryan keep bringing the debate back to his family?

During the VP debate, Paul Ryan kept referring to his family. I get that he was trying to have a personal effect, but does he understand that the entire country is not all like his family? Can his experience come from beyond how his household is run?

As a Catholic, I strongly agree with you on Ryan & I also strongly agree with VP Biden that you should NOT combine your religion to politics together! Follow the US Constitution NOT the bible!

He was painting himself and family as a normal family, and your arguement can be used to anyone.
as for Biden? His performance was nothing less than Disgusting

When a wise person debates with a fool, the fool rages and laughs, and there is no peace and quiet. Proverbs 29:9

His personal experience is more to go on than what Bill Clinton called a fairy tale in 2008 which is now the Obama administration and their ideas/plans.

@BuddyLove I actually agree with you on something today. Biden did bring the Jerry Springer show in to the mix. Which is exactly what Biden and Obama is doing to my country. Turning it into a big mess!

Yes, and Joe Biden kept talking about Scranton. It is as normal for politicians as baby-kissing...
