Could low level carbon monoxide poisoning effect your blood test or more specificly your PSA?
My PSA level radically jumped over the course of a year. Since it has gone down, then up. During the same time and up until about 4 weeks ago I learned that my chimney was plugged and probably had been for a few years. The gas company tested and found strong levels of carbon monoxide in the basement and though i didn't spend a lot of time there more than likely it was making it's way into the first floor where I spend all of my time while i'm home. Since the problem has been resolved I am beginning to need less sleep and my overall well being has improved. I have another blood test in a month and was just wondering if this could have effected my PSA test.
