There's no single term in Tagalog for "in-laws" but if you'd be more specific: Father/mother-in-law-> biyenan Sister-in-law---> hipag Brother-in-law--->bayaw There's also a Tagalog term for spouses of siblings --> magbilas/bilas Siguro ang pinakamalapit na translation, "mga kamag-anak ni mister/misis". I also agree with Patrick, sampid is improper and offending.
They called biyanan for mother/ father's in law. For sister & brother in-law called Manugang. All in all or lahat siya ang tawag ay pakialamera, ususera, kontrabida, palamuning kabayo, chismosa. In summary , mga buwisit sa buhay.
The Sampid , hitad, saling pusa it is You ( ikaw iyon) .
So if you don't need them behind your back, marry white foreigner . Your in-laws will not intimidate you. But you will catch his whinging habit.
