Okay, so the other day a close guy friend of mine (whom I have a crush on) texts me asking if I was going to this bar because a few of our mutual friends were going out. I replied that yes, I was going to be there and then he said "yay" -- I never know if he likes me more than a friend, but this is weird, no?

You really never know if a guy actually likes you as a friend or if theres something more unless he is flirting with you.

If he is a close friend, then the yay could just be friendly. I'm sorry, but I wouldn't suggest getting your hopes up unless he starts flirting much more.

Sorry but not really but it doesen't mean he doesnt like you just look for signs like him looking at you or blushing or if he texts you a lot.
