I bought a powerball ticket and it looks so complicated! It has a set of numbers and then a separate set then a 'points for prizes code' and then some other numbers under that! Do all the numbers have to match to win anything or if you get a couple can that win something?

I paid $3 each and bought two tickets but they are each separate with numbers on each. There are 5 sets of double numbers and then it says QP - a double digit number and QP on the other side of it. Then at bottom is 'points for prizes code. More 5 digit numbers.

The only numbers you need to concentrate on are the 6 numbers on each line. The numbers should be in black, all the other numbers you don't have to worry about. For example if you bought 2 tickets the ticket would look like this......
A - 6, 12, 18, 24, 32, PB 7 B - 7, 14, 21, 28, 35, PB 6
PB = the powerball number, that's the last number drawn
Line A and Line B are seperate tickets, you can't mix numbers between the different lines
All the numbers have to match to win the Jackpot but there are other prizes..............
5 matches AND the Powerball number = Jackpot $$$$$$$$$$$$ 5 matches, not including the Powerball number = $1,000,000 4 matches AND the Powerball number = $10,000 4 matches, not including the Powerball number = $100 3 matches AND the Powerball number = $100 3 matches. not including the Powerball number = $7 2 matches AND the Powerball number = $7 1 match AND the Powerball number = $4 Match only the Powerball number = $4
