All the best run states are Republican, and all the worst run states, except Arizona, and Democrat.
The statistics are right there! Democrats can't even run a state, let alone a whole country!

The best run states in America barely have any people in them.

How are you defining Democratic-run and Republican-run?

Of the five worst states, two (Arizona and New Jersey) have Republican governors, one (California) just got rid of a Republican governor, and one (Rhode Island) has a former Republican serving as an independent.

Of the five best states, two were run by Democrats until 2010.  

Putting all of that to the side, the definition of "best run" used in this survey is very subjective and gives weight to a lot of things outside the control of state government --- after all, not every state can be the Socialist Republic of Alaska which could be well-run if it elected somebody from the British Raving Looney Party..  

If you want to really measure things, don't look at a one-year study, look at an extended study over time in states in which control changes (or nationally).

Well actually CNN did a news report about republican and democratic succeses and democrats had 10+ major succeses mentioned and the republicans had 1 major succeses. I can only think of one democratic succeses mentioned off the top off my head, and that is social security for old folks. Or wellfare idk really remember it. But hohnestly, democrats are way more mature. Look at all these replicans trashing democrats on the Y! questions and then look at the democrats. The rario of repblicans trashing democrats is 20:1. Why cant we just all be one united country/ party? This makes us all divided and fight. Congrats republicans i hope you accheved what you wanted... Trolling/ fighting.

This country was at its peak under Pres Clinton and the tax increases he advocated for the wealthy.  Deficit was down and he passed on a suplus to Bushie Jr, who promptly blew it all when he decided he wanted to start two wars.  So shove a cork in it, our best years were under a DEMOCRATIC leader.
