Is it racist if you say you like white/pink skin better than other skin tones? Is it racist if you say you would never date a black girl simply because they're black? Is it racist if you list black people that you like and they all play basketball and you don't know them in person? Is it racist if you use racial slurs on every race except for the white people? Someone said these things and I accused them of being racist and then then they got there clique and started saying I was wrong. I had an hour long argument about it and they still didn't confess. Bonus question: Do you ever admit that you're wrong? Do you believe everyone is racist at times?
Those all are very racist. They have a derogatory outlook towards anyone who is not caucasian.
Yes I will admit if I am wrong. If I am joking with a friend over a small argument, maybe not, just to be a pain. And yes I believe everyone is racist at times, even if it is unintentional, however what you say and how you meant it changes how serious it is in my opinion.
Some people believe that all people are naturally inclined to racism, and this is reasonable in my opinion so long as it can be shown that they are referring to ethnocentrism, not necessarily to a race schema.
Personally I think there is ample evidence that we are born with minds prone to group identity, conformity, approval seeking, and modeling behaviors we observe in others. This probably is a result of natural selection starting with our hominid ancestors who were compelled to learn quickly how to survive from members of the group into which they were born. Those that did had a much greater chance of reproducing and passing on genes for this sort of cognition. Those that did not perished.
One of those behaviors was almost certainly distrust of non-group competitors.
Despite the success of that strategy, much more information about the real world is available today that is far more relevant to determining whether or not there exist race and whether or not ethnocentrism is a wise choice.
I perfer lightskinned girls over darkskin girls, it's just an personal perference, and u cannot force someone to like a certain skin tone or race, because attraction is in the eye of the beholder
