Are we the "Let's Die Young" Generation?

can you see:
8 out of 10 18-24 yr olds live at home with thier parents
we go to college and most are not getting an education but a huge party of drugs drinking and sex
we think we have endless time. we don't! everyone is going to age. we only have a limited time here!
What is the world coming to? What is our society coming to?! It is failing!! We are failing!
Isnt it time for the Boomerang generation to Grow Up and contribute to the world's improvement!?

back in the day at age 20 people were off on thier own and independent from thier parents. Nowadays adolescence has been extended past the 20's and into the 30's!

i think the world is just a new different generation. i dont know about the "let's die young" part. but its still more of the stupid "yolo" generation where people do the dumbest things not realizing what might happen to them if it kills them by thinking "we'll i have one life soo...." thankful for you and me, we both realize that young people nowadays are crazy. im sure young people back in the 1900s were wild too but like this? im not sure. but even my parents discribed that when they were teens there were always teens smoking and drunk.

overall, id say that you are right. the world is cray! sadly, the world has even worse problems than its people such as global warming, corruption, etc etc that are caused by humans. But i do disagree with you about the 8 out of 10 of 18-24 year olds living with their parents. it is their parents there is nothing wrong with that. at 18-24 many people arent able to get enough money to live by themselves. its either campus at school or parents. other wise...you'll be homeless. not everybody can get a good job especailly then. during that age, majority of people are waiting tables, depending on tips, working on the register, etc. so little can be business men and women or doctors already and have a hardcore career to purchase themselves a house you know? business men for example are still in college at 18-24 so keep that in mind. a doctor isnt out of college till late 20s.

literally speaking the average age is a lot higher than it was 50 years ago, so no. lol

but you are taking life too literal.. they say life is short, but it's the longest thing anyone goes through.

I'm a very go with the flow person. I smoke and drink, but i'm also taking and Ace-ing 5 AP courses, including AP Biology, only being 16.
Yes, it's good to have a successful life and have a good education, but it's also good to live a life you love.

Also please tell me how living with your parents at age 18 is bad...? ever consider consider the fact money for people is very tight, especially now in today's economy? And on top of that, we have to pay for college/ automobiles/ gas/ ect.

The world isn't perfect, and it never was--- stop worrying about how other people live.

Yeah I see your point, but I don't see anything wrong with the age 18-24 crowd living with their parents? The Economy is difficult and if they're doing what they're supposed to do and working, going to school there isn't really a problem here. As far as the partying and drinking it's really gone on a rampage, it's ridiculous!!

I'm 20. I live with my parents to save money. I have a job. I'm graduating college early with a double major and a minor. I don't drink or smoke or have any sort of sexual relations with people that I am not dating. I work hard and I still have a good time.

The answer is no. Maybe you should start hanging out with a better group of people. You are depressing me...

college is not about education! anymore...its about keg parties. sex in the dorms and drugs. and people wonder why america is dead last in education. and places like india and china are one and two. because students in china and india study and study. they dont go to spring break any party, swim and catch some rays.america's good days are behind it. we are on the decline. and soon we will be a bankrupt nation,3rd rate power.

WHO'S to blame?...take your pick!
