Entering recurring weekly events in Windows 8 calendar?

I've become a fan of the calendar tile on the Windows 8 start screen. But one annoyance: I have some recurring events, every week, same day and time. Do I have to enter each one of those individually? Is there a way to enter them once as the same event "every Thursday at 12 noon" or whatever? Some sort of copy and paste function maybe?

When you go into the area that you make an event in, scroll to the bottom and you will see a button that says "show more."Click on that and a few extra options show up including one that says "How often?" Click on that and you can set your recurring event, even set reminders for it.
