WTF is the timing ground wire on a 95 lumina van, 3.1 tbi?

it is not under the glove box, as previously suggested. it is not under the hood as previously thought i have went as far as dismantling my dash looking for this frigging unicorn. there is one wire that is black and tan under the hood that runs along side the pas, side core support, but it has no accompanying wire that it attaches to, kind of like the lead for the fuel pump hot wire. so if any one knows where this unicorn is located at it sure would be nice to find out so i can finish up the job i started on my mom's van.
add. notes it is not distributorless also i have ripped the wiring harness apart and have not found this fabled unicorn named timing ground wire. i know hwere the ECM is located and have followed that loom to the fire wall, no timing ground.
i have the van running but it stalls out until it cools down, then it will start back up. since moved the timing back to where it sounds right when at operating temp. seems to be where it works best and can be restarted at that point, but i'm sitting nearly 40 degreees out. is that where it should sit with timing ground wire connected?
how is it that i always get the one vehicle that does not apply to normal manufacturing standards. like this for instance , bet i find the timing ground wire behind the left rear turn signal or some goofy place like that

I am trying to figure out what your doing so bare with me and lets hope we can go through an idea that will help stemming from what limited info we have. T am assuming your trying to time it for one which can usually be done close enough by ear to get it close enough to stay away from the trouble you mentioned I am wondering if the ground wire you are looking for is the ground wire going to the ecm causing the 2 problems you mentioned i.e. can't get it timed and stalls after warmed up but it sounds like the wire might be going to far especially if you haven't changed the ecm first which is famously noted to cause this kind of problem if you have time then send us some more info mostly like when did all this start and what was that last thing the motor was doing before this started even if it was park and had not been started would help

WTF are you ranting about pretending that you're actually working on a car, and why would you be ripping wiring harnesses apart, unless you're a meth head.
