Whats with the New Recruiting Standards ?

Going by the Most recent Recruiting Standards...
None of the Past "Fighters for Freedom" would
have ever been allowed to enlist ???

Going all the way back to Concord...up through WW l and WW ll,
Korea, Vietnam, including those in Afghanistan today...

Doesn't that strike you as odd ???
