That animals have a soul? I'm looking for a scripture that specifically says this -- like when God breathed into man's nostrils and he became a living soul. I would like to know if any one has read it in the Bible. No rude answers please.

read about noah, after he left the ark,God said all is given for man to eat(animals) not humans, they were made by the hand of God,animals were spoken into being.
The Bible is silent on this. We know animals do not have a spirit, as a spirit can only be imbued to a physical being through the breath of God Himself. And we know animals are not made in God's image as we are. But a soul is a bit different from a spirit. Whether animals have them or not, I don't know.
The Bible does not address your question. But it's established that many animals have personalities (even ants have some measure!), and I believe that God loves animals. The closest thing to an example I can think of is when Balaam's donkey was enabled to speak in the Old Testament.
This is often debated. No, animals then would be part to sin. Others ask if animals will be in Heaven. Humans form special bonds with cats, dogs, birds and horses in particular. Jesus returns riding a horse. Bible speaks of the lamb and lion laying down together, these have to be spirit animals. So, I think they will be.
