R&P: What are your favorite songs that sound 'apocalyptic' or 'post-apocalyptic'?
BQ : Do you like Ambient music? If so, what are some of your favorites? BQ 2: Favorite movies, tv shows, books in apocalyptic/post-apocalyptic genre? BQ 3: If you could choose the cause of the end of the world, what would it be? Natural disaster? Disease outbreak? etc... BQ 4: If you have to form a R&P survival team in a post-apocalyptic wasteland, which users would you choose and why?
Have a nice day :D

Well, my in idea of a post-apocalyptic world, the planet would largely be barren, and people would live in nomadic tribes, so gypsy music kind of fits with that image. Abney Park has a LOT of that. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PL557wdOvoA http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Kl95FRxZYRE http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3vAYrBJHGqo
Wow, you'd think I liked Abney Park or something with the amount I've been using them for my answers.
Ok, to mix things up, how about Last Steampunk Waltz by Ghostfire. It's very dreary sounding, and something I could easily imagine in a post apocalypse setting. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SsBg1EJMEg0
BQ: no, not really. I really don't like any kind of music that doesn't have drums or a drum machine to keep a beat.
BQ: I've only recently gotten into some Post-Apocalypse stuff, for the most part I've been sticking to Cyberpunk, Space Opera, and Victorian Steampunk,so my selections are limited. Books: -Mortal Engines quartet by Philip Reeve -Vampire Hunter D by Hideyuki Kikuchi
TV Shows: -Neon Genesis Evangelion -Last Exile
Video Games: -Fallout series
BQ3: I guess alien invasion. Even if it would mean the end of the human race, it would be pretty cool to know we aren't alone in the universe.
BQ4: Oh god, I haven't been on here in so long I forget most of the people on here. I'm not sure if any of the people I name are still active.
I guess Killer Peaches; he's a chef, so he could cook for the team. Tron, because he's Canadian, and us Canadians know how to survive in the wild. Fingertoes, for entertainment value. And I guess if I didn't say you, you might be less likely to give me best answer :P
Apocalyptic? Without a doubt, "The End" by The Doors: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1b26BD5KjH0
BQ: Yes, I do. One of my favorites is Team Sleep, side project of Deftones' Chino Moreno.
BQ2: The Stand by Steven King; The Book of Eli; The Walking Dead
BQ3: Natural disaster. We don't need months/years of suffering.
BQ4: Opi and Birdy, Peepaw and Leprosy. I know that Leprosy can fish, that could come in handy. And Peepaw is from Texas, so I know he's a badass. Why Opi and Birdy? Isn't it obvious?
