How likely are you to get pregnant while taking the pill?

I've been on the generic form of ortho tri cyclen for two months now. I had a miscarriage in December and went on it about 2 weeks after wards. I had sex last week(Wednesday) and told my partner I wanted him to pull out to be double safe. He forgot and even though I am due for my period tomorrow I'm still concerned. I was nowhere near when I would be ovulating but I guess im just looking for some imput.

I know how the pill works, I was on it for 4 years before getting off and trying to have a baby. The miscarriage devastated me and I don't wanna go through it again.

The pill is 99% effective so the odds of getting pregnant are slim. You don't really need to use a backup method when you are on the pill unless you miss pills or don't take them at the same time every day or you are worried about STDs.

I know a couple people who have gotten pregnant while they were on the pill. And other forms of birth control. Unfortunately when it comes down to it, what works for some may not work for others. I wouldn't worry too much right now especially if you only had sex last week. If you miss your period and you are that worried. give it a week or two and take a test to put your mind at ease

It sounds like you don't understand how the pill works.

You don't ovulate on the pill, so you don't have 'fertile days.'

If you took all your pills as directed, the odds of pregnancy are less than 1% per YEAR. You should be fine.

As long as your take your pill every day- you are not going to get pregnant. No matter how many times he cums in you.
