Anyone-else think that Rubio's "water event" was plannned?

He sure took Rand Paul out of the picture with this stunt.

Maybe. I think there are quite a few people in the Republican Party that would like to see Rubio embarrassed and delegitimized. Maybe they deliberately moved his water further away to make Rubio look as awkward as possible should he need to take a drink during his speech.

The response to the State of the Union is already a set-up for failure, trying to look as prestigious in an empty room as the leader of our nation does standing before Congress.

I wonder at the die-hards that think Rand Paul was ever in the picture.

No, no one made Rubio go parched enough to lunge at a glass of water set too far from him.
Just the fact though that the Tea Party felt it needed a separate reply to the State of the Union, means they feel very much split off from the Republicans. I truly wonder if the Republican party will continue to fund those people.

He had a drink of water for crying out loud.. How bout you focus on the CONTENT of his speech??

You Libs are something else... Its like you go to the Superbowl, and during the first quarter of the game some kid farts.. The media the next day doesn't report the game results, the scores or anything and the Headlines reads the next day "Child Farts at the Superbowl" and wraps the entire article around describing the fart, sport center only shows a 5 second video over and over again, of just that not the game and totally ignoring any part of the game.
You Libs are a bunch of children, my god grow up already would ya? This is like sitting in the back of a 1st grade class listening to a bunch of children talk.

Evolution and biology compelled Rubio to need that water. Contemporary republicans aren't that smart.

It crossed my mind...but it allowed Rand to be the front runner, the way I see things. Kind of like how Mitt wanted nothing to do with this.
