See, as long as I've been reading communist theory, I've never actually come across the idea of "redistributing the wealth." That's just something I've heard conservatives say. Kinda like a boogey-man. It's a faceless threat that only seems to exist in their minds.
So since it appears to be a conservative viewpoint, I have to wonder. Is "wealth redistribution" actually when you take take tax money from millions and millions of people and give it to a couple corporations who are entrusted to run the economy (despite the fact that they attacked the economy in the first place)? From the bottom to the top, where it stays, as usual?
What Marx actually suggested was that workers mass together and take back their tools and factories, therefor allocating resources more fairly because they aren't 100% detached from the state of the world that they live in.

since 2001 we have seen the largest redistribution of wealth in human history . from the middle class working man , up to the top few percent richest . the zionist agenda of greed of wall street , corporations and the bankers have sucked tens of trillions of dollars from our home equities and life savings . we are being turned into economic slaves . but like in ancient rome , the slaves will rise up against their oppressors . i can see it coming .
Communism is an extreme form of redistribution so illustrated the point.
Have you seen the movie "Doctor Zhivago"? In that movie people's houses were taken over by The State and rooms in the house were allocated to families. Your personal labor became the property of The State and you were assigned a job.
So in Soviet Union the short definition of communism was theft and slavery. Here of course we call it "redistribution". What is called Tyranny elsewhere, here we call law and order.
Also, in communism, there are no corporations because they get taken over by The State. The former owners (stockholders, like people's 401k, etc) get ripped off and they lose everything.
In a redistribution system, the only people who get to be fat cats are those with the power to redistribute. When the government gets to decide who has too much, it always ends up deciding everyone has too much, except of course for government.
Wealth distribution is the concept of taxing wealthy people at a higher rate than lower income earners, so that the lower earners can have a more affordable lifestyle. In practice, it fails, in that the wealthiest always find ways to minimize their taxes, such that they either pay a lot less, or even no tax at all.
It's what idiot conservatives call a progressive tax. Misleadingly call it. It's just smoke and mirrors designed to raise the ire of these cowards on the right.
