so i have a cat and it stays in my room and my mom bitches when my door is closed because the cat cant get out. so one day i had it closed and whe she came home she was really mad about something at work and she ran in my room and kicked me in my rib so hard i had to go to the hospital and what really pissed me off is that she lied and said that the doctor that fell i off my ******* longboard. i had 2 broken right ribs and if it don't heal right i might have to get surgery. should i alert the police?

Tell the police and that hospital about what your mom said was a cover up. If they don't believe you, then go with your mom to the hospital and get a x-ray done so you can have present it as proof to the police.

Your mom has the legal rights to do this since you are 18 or 21 in US because you are underage so it's only her point of view that counts in front of the authorities and you don't have any prof that she did that.
