Quite a few of my poems are specifically responses to individual tunes. Most often I find Welsh folk tunes meet a resonance in mine, or occasionally Welsh hymn tunes (Aderyn Pur, Tydi a Roddaist, Ar ben Waun Tredegar) - but at various times I have found myself riffing off Sermisy, Jannequin, and once even Clodagh Rodgers.
