How to clean 49cc engine?

I have received a cateye 49cc pocket bike that has been sitting in a garage for three years from my neighbor. What can I do to check and clean the engine or do I even need to clean it? I just want it to look good as new. Also the engine does run well and have ridden it a couple of times already with no problem. Just want it clean lol

Gunk Engine Degreaser.
Available at auto parts stores.
Spray it on, hose it off.
Don't get water in the exhaust pipe or air box.
Cover the exhaust with a plastic bag and tape it closed.
Do the same with the air box opening.
