A question about a new small truck or car?
My wife and I are older folks, retired, and I am somewhat disabled. We presently own a fairly new Ford F-150 King Cab, and we want to keep this truck for longer trips... But, we are in the market for a small truck or car, (new, and as roomy as possible due to my disability), but the major criteria is that on our fixed income we can only afford a payment of 200 dollars a month, at most... We just want something small and economical, but dependable, to use for short trips around town, shopping, to the doctor, drug store, visiting, etc.... I realize this is alot to ask, but I'm hoping there are at least a few vehicles that fit this niche... We want to buy, not lease, and while we can afford a little money down, we will not have a trade-in.
Any and all suggestions appreciated. We'd like to compile a list of the vehicles that fit this criteria, if possible, so that we can look into them all before deciding or talking to a dealer... My wife and I thank you for taking the time to answer.
No, we have a Leer shell on the F-150, as well as the bed Line-X'ed. We NEED this truck to haul our portable shop and merchandise to the biker swapmeets we go to around this area to add a bit of income to the Social Security, and, besides, we just got it paid off... We don't mind a note. We just want something economical on gas for short trips around town. But thank you for the other suggestions.

I thank you both for your suggestions, and will look into all of them.
