What is the cheapest way to transport a large object cross country?

I am trying to buy an ultralight aircraft. Only problem is that the one i am trying to purchase is located in Hurricane Utah, and I live in Delaware. That is over 2,000 miles. I recognize it wont be cheap, but what company could i pay that could ship an ultralight airplane at the absolute lowest cost possible, or that you know of?

My last shipping quote for a Jaguar from New York to Tucson, Arizona, was only about $1600.
As an ultralight, the whole aircraft can't weigh more than 254 lbs.
The guy who's selling it to you should be able to take it apart and put most of it in boxes. There would be one large box that carries the wing spars, and the tubing for the fuselage. That can't weigh much, as the entire aircraft can't weigh more than 254 lbs, so if you take away the seat, the engine and propeller, the wheels, and the envelopes that cover the flight control surfaces, you should be looking at UPS ing all the small stuff, and one large box for a freight shipper. I would say it should be around $200 for the box carrying the wing spars and fuselage tubes. The UPS for the smaller boxes shouldn't cost more than another $100 to $150. It may even be cheaper than that.

Its no longer quite spontaneous combustion, its vapor construct up in a sealed container. The gasoline tanks have to breathe, and that allows the vapors to potentially construct up after which all it takes is a spark. It usually is an extended shot, but its a hazard that i would not take. I undoubtedly would not wish to be there once they open it. I bear in mind going to a welding keep and seeing a picture of a vehicle that had exploded leaving it totally destroyed and a note that the proprietor used to be killed. The explosion got here from an acetylene tank that had been put in the trunk of the automobile and it was leaking a bit. Once they popped the trunk it made a spark and blew up. Dangerous stuff. Same kinda thing.

There's a good chance you're going to pay more for shipping than you paid to buy the thing.

I would think that an ultralight aircraft could easily be broken down and loaded inside a shipping container for Interstate transportation. Perhaps the easiest way would be for your shipper to hire a POD container and send it to you...
