Intel haswell vs nvidia gt650m?
Supposedly the upcoming haswell graphics can match the speed and performance of nvidia's popular laptop gt3e chip. That's all good until you realize that nvidia's best feature is their optimus technology which allows the user to switch off the power hungry nvidia, and use the energy efficient Intel integrated graphics instead. This leads me to my main question. Can the haswell gt3/gt3e chip under low loads have the same or better power efficiency as the ivy bridge Intel graphics? And if not, what is the benefit of it compared to nvidia chips?
