Intel haswell vs nvidia gt650m?
Supposedly the upcoming haswell graphics can match the speed and performance of nvidia's popular laptop gt3e chip. That's all good until you realize that nvidia's best feature is their optimus technology which allows the user to switch off the power hungry nvidia, and use the energy efficient Intel integrated graphics instead. This leads me to my main question. Can the haswell gt3/gt3e chip under low loads have the same or better power efficiency as the ivy bridge Intel graphics? And if not, what is the benefit of it compared to nvidia chips?

the gt 650m has 384 cores clocked at 735-850mhz. However the haswell intergrated card only has 20 cores clocked at 400-1350mhz. The Nvidia card will always beat the intergrated haswell card. The haswell card is much more power effecient and optimus works like a dream on my laptop.

Intel is with Nvidia and AMD is with ATI. this is weird and wonderful because I definitely have experienced distinctive motherboard that have an AMD socket with Nvidia chipsets. i think of that it could have been Nvidia with AMD and Intel with ATI with the aid of fact the photos enjoying cards run smoother that way for although reason. i think of it has to do with the reality that AMD do extra paintings consistent with clock cycle and so do the Nvidia enjoying cards.
