Multiple species living in a particular biome?

Six species of monkeys are found in a tropical forest, are they most likely: From different stages of succession, eating different foods and occupying different ranges, spending most of their time fighting eachother, occupying the same ecological niche, or all of these?
I'm having a bit of trouble answering this question, so any help is much appreciated.

eating different foods and occupying different ranges - prevents competition and allows co-existence.
