my sto has to include the words 'i wish i had listened' im writing a story bout a old man whos about to find out he has terminal illness due to smoking so hes getting dressed to go to consultant now were do i take it from there?please help for junior cert

I'd do it as a monologue of his trail of thought as he gets ready and end it as he leaves the house

For the 'I wish I had listened' I'd have him going on about a memory when he was young and a friend/girlfriend/mother or someone telling him he should smoke their bad for you.
